Changing Churches
Sitting at KFA with my wife during the rehearsal for the morning service. A bit of a change from our small church experience. Of course this is the norm for Brian who is the Audio Director on staff at KFA. We have done many large events with our live sound rig, but this is like having a high energy, high quality worship event EVERY week! You can feel the hearts of Pastor Benny, the worship team and the tech crew in creating a quality and more importantly, an offering of musical worship that is as pleasing as sweet incense rising to heaven!
Why are we moving from a small church to a much larger one? We love the small church feel and knowing almost everyone. But the last small church worshipped with all recorded music and did not embrace live worship. Also, the level of organization and planning at most small churches is minimal. We are very organized people and therefore get frustrated without that organizational framework. And yes, the Holy Spirit can minister and work within an oranized framework.
My wife Terri is a gifted musician that I’m sure will be able to be used in many ways and just maybe I can help with the Tech crew 
The rehearsal is now finished and everything is set. A few rough areas, but everyone is working together well.
And that is what the sound/media ministry is all about!
