What is the goal of the church technical team? To enable and enhance the worship experience so that the following can be a reality (Sean Feucht blog post 2/20/09):

But as we began to sing together and flood the atmosphere with the goodness, glory and truth of who HE is, I could see frequencies and the sound of the melodies go forth from a place of His presence shoot through the bodies of those in the room. The breath of God released life back into these broken people and they would literally “come alive” as we got deeper and deeper into realms of His glory together. This new season does call for a new sound. It’s a sound of life, resurrection, rebirth and reclamation. It’s the time where we call out to the barrenness of our own hearts, dreams and lives to birth new life yet again. It’s where we gather in our cities and flood the air with perpetual melodies and songs. It’s a sound that is creative, intriguing and inviting to every barren soul longing to be made fertile again. Burn 24-7

And that is what the sound/media ministry is all about!
